Larry Taff MCR, GCP, UDCR, CAPS
President Larry formed TZ of Madison, Inc. prior to 1992 with his wife Karen Ziegler Taff.
Larry has over 40 years experience in remodeling and building, including green building and universal design. Larry is a fully trained lead safe work practices supervisor. In 2007, Larry received his Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) certification. This designation teaches strategies for building aesthetically enriching, barrier-free living environments for older adults who wish to remain in their homes. In 2009, Larry earned one of the first NARI UDCR certifications in the country. This is a world wide philosophy to design and remodel homes for people of all ages and abilities.

Karen Ziegler Taff, Vice President Karen has over 30 years of experience in related family business management. She assists in all day-to-day management decisions and provides interior design consultation. Karen is also President of her family's business, Madison Sand & Gravel Co. Inc.
Kristin Kanitz, Office Manager Kristin has 20 years of experience in advertising, marketing and business administration. Her duties at TZ of Madison are to oversee office management and marketing. Kristin’s experience includes four years in event marketing and chapter programs at NARI of Madison.
Jesse Taff, CLC, UDCR & CAPS Project Manager/Lead Carpenter After studying business marketing at UW-Milwaukee, Jesse came to TZ to put his expertise to work for his family's business. In addition to project management and lead carpenter responsibilities, he is also instrumental in the development of this website and other electronic media for the company. Jesse earned his NARI Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC) designation in 2007, Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) in 2007 and UDCR in 2009.
Nathan Furst, CLC Lead Carpenter Nathan has been with TZ of Madison for five years. Prior to joining our company, he spent five years as the property manager of a large apartment complex. Nathan has a B.A. in Economics from UW-Madison. He earned his NARI Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC) designation in May 2008.
Laura S Taff, Consultant Larry's mother is a retired nurse who worked with The Bureau for Children with Physical Needs. She has over 50 years of experience in running her family and family owned businesses.
James Taff, Consultant Larry's father is a retired contractor with over 50 years of experience in running family businesses. He also helps manage The Taff family Tree and Trout farms. |
