TZ of Madison believes that continuing education is necessary to maintain experience and professionalism in remodeling. We have three certified employees on our staff. This allows us to provide homeowners with the most up to date and expert techniques for their remodeling projects. Our staff holds the following certifications:
National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
- Master Certified Remodeler – CR a full-service remodeler who has reached Master level
- Certified Lead Carpenter – CLC lead carpenters are skilled and knowledgeable in the technical, hands-on aspects of their work, but who have also demonstrated skill and knowledge in project management, supervision and customer service.
- Green Certified Professional – GCP a designation for remodelers focusing on energy efficiency and conservation, indoor air quality, efficient use of resources, recycling of demolition material and renewable energy sources.
- Universal Design Certified Remodeler - UDCR a new designation for remodelers who focus on the Seven Universal Design principles and apply them to projects for families who wish to age in place, have special needs or are forward thinking.
National Home Builders Association (NAHB)
- Certified Aging in Place Specialist – CAPS a technical designation for remodelers focusing on home modifications for older and maturing adults to remodel their homes for aging in place.
